The Bremen Town Musicians
Once upon a time, there was a donkey who was too old to work anymore.
The donkey had worked hard for his master for many years, but now he was too weak.
So, his master decided to get rid of him.
"How can this be? I worked so hard, and now I'm being chased away!" the donkey thought.
"But it's okay. I'll go to Bremen and become a musician!"
He decided and set off on his way.
The donkey walked slowly down the road.
After a while, he saw a panting hunting dog lying by the roadside.
"Hello, hunting dog! Why do you look so tired?" the donkey asked.
"I am also old and can no longer hunt. My master chased me away.”
“Now I don't know where to go," replied the hunting dog sadly.
"Then come with me to Bremen and become a musician!”
“I can play the trumpet, and you can play the drums," the donkey suggested.
The dog agreed, and the two set off together towards Bremen.
After walking for a while, they saw a cat crying by the roadside.
"Cat, what's wrong?" the donkey asked.
"I am also old and can no longer catch mice. So my master chased me away.”
“Now I don't know where to go," replied the cat, wiping away tears.
"Then come with us to Bremen! We will form a band.”
“I can play the trumpet, the dog can play the drums, and you can play the violin!" suggested the donkey.
The cat agreed, and the three set off together.
