Paul’s little hen flew away from the farm yard
Ran down the hillside and into the dale (Oh! No!)
Paul chased the hen, down in the water,
There sat a fox with a great bushy tail.
Cluck! cluck! cluck! cried the poor little creature,
Cluck! cluck! cluck! cried the poor little creature.
Paul made a spring but could not save her,
“Now I shall never dare go home again”
Paul’s little pig flew away from the farm yard
Ran down the hillside and into the dale (Oh! No!)
Paul chased the pig, down in the water,
There sat an wolf with a great bushy tail.
Oink! oink! oink! cried the poor little creature,
Oink! oink! oink! cried the poor little creature.
Paul made a spring but could not save him,
“Now I shall never dare go home again”
